‘The Greatest Showman’: Film Review

By: Corderro McMurry

P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman) delivers an inspirational performance alongside Charity Barnum (Michelle Williams), Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron), and Jenny Lind (Rebecca Ferguson) in The Greatest Showman. A musical about chasing your dreams and not letting those around you bring you down, brings motivation and passion to anyone who has a million-dollar dream.

The musical film capitalizes on taking those who society sees as “freaks” and inspiring them to be unique and love who they really are besides what others may think. P.T. Barnum goes through the amazing journey of life through his career and family all to understand the lessons of failure in life. This original musical film will have you singing the soundtrack in your car and at work. A film that I believe deserves 5 out of 5 stars for, is out on digital download, Blu-Ray and DVD.
