‘Equalizer 2’: Film Review
By: Corderro McMurry
The equalizer returns this summer based off the television series created by Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim. Denzel Washington (Robert McCall) kicks off this sequal with one of his signature roles in the first sequel of his career. Serving justice to those who take advantage of the oppressed, Denzel is the superhero for those that he loves.
Denzel who is a Lyft driver in the film, provides a great service to everyone who enters his vehicle whether they are just everyday citizens or someone who is out to kill him. I have to give him a 5 out of 5 stars for this film. Great action pack scenes and lessons to teach young black African Americans about going to school and doing what needs to be done rather than what should be done. The film is out now in theatres.
